Hi Kickstarter backers! My name is Devyn Miller and I am the Community Manager here at xCraft. I will be posting updates on the development with the PhoneDrone Ethos! We are working hard here at the office and we are meeting our expectations for our Fall 2016 release! Belated Update

All,
We have been remiss in providing you a timely update and for that we are sorry. So much has been happening in our growing business that it's easy to forget the important things. This won't happen again as we have now brought on a Community Manager that will be keeping you in the know from this point forward.
So, here's what's been happening:
Move to the new space
We were desperately in need of some larger, more appropriate space for xCraft and after a concerted search, we were able to find just the location in a town about 40 miles south called Coeur d'Alene (pronounced cord-ah-lane), Idaho. The new space gives us ample square footage for X PlusOne assembly as well as expansion room for R&D and customer service. Coeur d'Alene is also a pretty nice town, surrounded by a beautiful lake and scenic mountains with a great startup-friendly community.
Hiring blitz
We've brought on some terrific people in the last two months as we improve operations. xCraft has hired a production team, operations, community support, and engineering interns. By the way, we're looking for more. If interested, send us your resume to [email protected]. It's a pretty cool place to work.
Set up manufacturer
We have located and narrowed our search down to two potential Asian factories for production of PhoneDrone Ethos. Our production manager will be headed there right after the Chinese New Year to finalize the decision and begin the production process. We want to ensure that the factory we choose will provide the highest quality, on-schedule delivery of the finished product.
Indiegogo
Our backers are the reason we are here and we have not forgotten that fact. Because of your incredible support of PhoneDrone Ethos and the continued success of the project, we have now begun accepting pre-orders on Indiegogo. This brings us one step closer to production.

We're Funded!!!

We made it! PhoneDrone Ethos is officially funded!
We set out to raise $100K and ended up with $325,952 and 1256 backers! Wow! We want to thank our amazing backers for a job well done. You deserve the credit. We can't thank you enough for sticking with us and believing in our idea.
Now comes the hard part: delivery. We have already begun the process of finalizing the hardware design for manufacturing and building out the app. There is still a long road ahead but with our supporters leading the way, we're sure to be successful!
