Hello backers! Thank you again for all of your support as we continually make progress on the PhoneDrone Ethos!
We are excited to present the mirror attachment for PhoneDrone!
The mirror can be adjusted many different ways. The angle of the mirror itself can be pitched 55 degrees to capture your subject at any position; from directly below to out in front of the PhoneDrone. Along with that, it is positioned on a swivel track to move the focal point of the photo or video to either side of the craft.
It connects using removable adhesive making it reliable to stay on for the flight yet easy to remove when you want that straight down shot. Overall, this attachment gives the pilot more flexibility and allows a broader viewing angle and is a great feature for PhoneDrone.
In other news, We Have Boxes!!
PhoneDrone Beta boxes are here and ready to deliver PhoneDrone!
This is a big step in getting PhoneDrone out the door, and we are very happy with how they've turned out.
We are still working with factories and waiting for the tooling to be finished; approx. 5 weeks until the tooling is ready.
Currently, we are testing different battery and motor combinations for PhoneDrone to find the optimal flight performance combination.
Thank you all so much for your continued support and patience. We are eager for you all to get your hands on the final product and enjoy all of the hard work we have put forward!

Hello to all of our awesome backers!
We'd like to introduce the final design of PhoneDrone Ethos!
We hope you are just as excited as we are about this sleek new look. We went for a “Tesla-esque” design approach and we think we did pretty well.
The design incorporates a universal, vibration isolated "Otter Box" style phone case for shock resistance and stable footage. The case itself is waterproof to further protect your phone.
It handles beautifully in the air and the app is simple, easy to use, and controls the drone very well. See below for a video of how the app is going to function:
It’s been a busy few weeks here at xCraft, and we’re still forging ahead on PhoneDrone!
xCraft was also at Interdrone in Las Vegas, the largest commercial drone show in the world! PhoneDrone received very positive publicity and everyone is very excited to see it come to market.
We are still on schedule per the previous update. We should start tooling within approximately 2 weeks, at which point we can run several test runs to make sure that everything is cut correctly. After that comes Beta testing, then delivery!
